Updated for 2010 classes. Typically a hands-on DAKOTA 101 training session starts with this overview (or one from above) and then proceeds through a series of method- or application-specific modules. While often presented in this order, there isn't strong dependence between the sections:

The latter part of a training session typically takes users through the "Building an Interface to a Engineering Simulation Code" section of the DAKOTA User's Manual and then linking DAKOTA to an audience-relevant application. These sllides are used in our training sessions: Application Interfacing One might conclude with other advanced topics from the User's Manual, as class interest dictates.

Most of the files to accompany these materials can be found in a DAKOTA distribution under examples/tutorial, examples/methods, and examples/script_interfaces/generic.
